13-year-old Rajasthan girl saves 3 from drowning, dies trying to save fourth

Presenting a unique example of bravery, a 13-year-old girl saved three children from drowning in Rajasthan’s Dholpur district. But unfortunately, she drowned herself while saving the fourth child.

According to the information, the girl’s name was Anushka and she used to study in class VIII.

The incident took place in Dholpura village of Vinatipura gram panchayat of Dholpur. As soon as the news of the incident was received, there was a wave of mourning among the villagers.

But everyone lauded Anushka’s brave act of saving the three boys from drowning.

Giving information about the incident, Rajesh Sikarwar, Sarpanch of Vinatipura told that Anushka had gone to the river bank with four other children. These people had gone there on Monday afternoon for Rakshabandhan.
