WHO Director-General Tedros Adhenom said on Wednesday that as of now there are 1.03 crore cases of Covid-19 worldwide. “More than 1,60,000 cases of infections have been reported every day during the last week … about 6 million cases reported only in June,” he said. “Just testing … creating distances … contact tracing or masking alone is not effective … we have to follow them all,” said Tedros.
