A teenage boy has been arrested for raping his two-year-old neighbour in the Indian city of Chandigarh, police said. The toddler’s mother had dropped her at the teenager’s house to watch cartoons on TV but soon heard her daughter crying. On rushing back to her room, she found him sexually assaulting her.
The accused has been booked under Sections 376 (rape) and 6 (aggravated penetrative sexual assault) of the Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act.
