China Eastern plane crashed Monday with 132 people on board. No survivors have been found so far, news agency AP reports. This is one of the worst disasters China has seen in nearly a decade.

The fire was said to be big enough to be seen from space, however, NASA satellites were unable to reach the area because of smoke from the burning wreckage.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, Chinese state media report. President Xi Jinping has ordered an “all-out rescue operation” for the missing passengers.

Boeing 737-800 is said to be the safest unlike Boeing Max that was grounded globally after a series of crashes a couple of years ago. The aerospace firm has said “our technical experts are prepared to assist” with the investigation led by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
