3 more Rafales land in India, strength now at 14

With the arrival of three more Rafales fighter planes in India, the Indian Air Force now has 14 Rafale fighters.

The fourth batch of three Rafale fighter jets from France reached India on Wednesday evening and with this the number of Rafale aircraft in the Indian fleet has increased to 14.

From last 10 September till now i.e. within 5 months 14 Rafale fighters jets have been with India. The arrival of these aircraft has further enhanced the Indian’s ability to attack.

The Air Force said that the aircraft did not stop anywhere on the way to India from France and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force tankers fueled the aircraft in the sky.

The Air Force tweeted that the fourth batch of three Rafale aircraft has landed on Indian soil. It took a direct flight from France’s Israes Air Force Base. The Indian Air Force thanked the UAE Air Force for refueling in Rafale aircraft and described it as another milestone in the strong relationship between the two air forces.

The Air Force has not disclosed the place where Rafale aircraft have arrived. Earlier, the Indian Embassy in France had said on Twitter that three more Rafale fighter jets from France flew to India and these aircraft will not stop anywhere on the way. The Air Force said that these planes will increase India’s air power.

The number of Rafale aircraft in the fleet of Indian Air Force combat aircraft has now increased to 14.
