According to a health announcement issued by the Delhi government on Friday, the capital of the country reported 1 Covid-19 death and 38 new infections in one day, with a positive rate of 0.07%.
Eight patients are discharged every day, and the city has 340 active Covid-19 cases, up from 311 on Thursday. The total number of Covid Tally in Delhi has climbed to 14,39,526, of which more than 14.14 million patients have recovered. The death toll has risen to 25,091. So far, Delhi has recorded 4 deaths due to the virus in October. The previous 3 deaths were reported on October 2, October 10, and October 19.
Last month, only 5 deaths were reported from coronavirus infections-1 death each on September 7, September 16 and September 17, and 2 deaths on September 28. According to the announcement, a total of 55,909 tests were conducted one day ago, including 38,300 RT-PCR tests and 17,609 rapid antigen tests. Delhi recorded 22 Covid-19 cases and deaths on Thursday, and the positive rate was 0.05%. The city reported 25 infections on Wednesday and 15 on Monday.
