NDRF Director General S.N. Pradhan has said that 43 NDRF teams have been deployed in Maharashtra and Gujarat in view of Cyclone Hurricane Nature and about 1 lakh people have been evacuated from the affected areas. The storm has hit the Alibag coast and the landfall process will be completed in 3 hours.
