The Demarcation Committee proposed 6 additional seats to Jammu and Kashmir in a report submitted after a panel meeting with J&K MPs yesterday. However, the proposal made Kashmir’s political parties angry because they accused the group of fulfilling the ruling BJP agenda in the old country. From the National Conference to the PDP to the People’s Conference, the valley, based on a voice, opposed the proposal, claiming that the demarcation committee had not re-delineated the electoral boundary in a fair manner in accordance with the parameters.
