In Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh) on Thursday, 7 people died in a carpet making factory due to poisonous gas leaks. According to the family of one of the deceased, the gas leaked from the chemical factory next door. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has mourned the incident and the district administration will give ₹ 4 lakh compensation to the families of the deceased.
