Flipkart said that 60 percent of its sellers come from Tier 2 cities and now its sellers base has reached more than 3 thousand pincodes in the country.Sellers selling household products and personal care products are steadily increasing. On one hand, demand is increasing in metro cities. However, the demand for Tier 3+ cities has been around 60 per cent.

Flipkart said that the use of EMI for buying goods like mobile phones, laptops has increased by 65 percent. About 25 percent of electronics and appliances have been purchased through EMI. The purchase of smartphones has also increased up to 40 percent.
