Aaliyah Kashyap, the daughter of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, has shared a few photos and a video of her weekend activities. Actress Kalki Koechlin and her two-year-old daughter Sappho were among the people she met. Kalki is her father’s ex-wife, and Sappho is her boyfriend Guy Hershberg’s daughter.
Aaliyah simply wrote on Instagram, “weekend archive,” when she shared the photos and video. Aaliyah is wearing a hairband in the first photo, which is a close-up selfie. She also shared a longer shot of herself in the same outfit, which included a crop top, denims, and a white shirt. In her room, she can be seen taking a selfie. She also posted a solo photo of her small dog sitting on her bed, staring at the camera.
One of the photos shows Kalki in a two-piece brown swimsuit and a cap, sitting in a pool with Sappho. While being photographed, Sappho looks at the camera, and Kalki looks at her. Aaliyah also shared a photo of herself and Sappho laughing in each other’s company. Aaliyah’s dog is seen playing on the beach in a video attached to the post.
“Aww so sweet to see you still have a good and healthy relationship with Kalki,” a fan wrote on the post. “Second picture is soooo cute,” a fan wrote in response to Aaliyah and Sappho’s happy selfie. “The second picture aw,” wrote another fan. “Finally wholesome post,” one fan said, while another said, “You’re so cute.”
Anurag has a friendly relationship with his ex-wives, who came out in support of him when he was accused of sexual assault in 2020. “Dear Anurag, don’t let this social media circus get to you,” Kalki wrote on Instagram, “you have fought for the freedom of women in your scripts, you’ve defended their integrity in your professional space as well as in your personal life.” I’ve seen it firsthand: in both the personal and professional realms, you’ve always treated me as an equal, you’ve stood up for my integrity even after our divorce, and you’ve backed me up when I’ve felt unsafe at work, even before we met.”
