Kajal Pisal is one of the many actors who auditioned for the role of Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah. She says that she waited a long time for a call back from the show’s producers, but it never came.
Pisal says that she was finally called in for a meeting with the show’s creator, Asit Kumarr Modi, who told her that she wasn’t right for the role. “I was really disappointed,” she says. “But Mr. Modi was very kind and told me that I had a lot of potential and that I should keep trying.”
Pisal says that she’s grateful for the opportunity to have auditioned for the show and is still hopeful that one day she’ll get her big break.

She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.
