The number of people recovering from the disease surged to 3,29,86,180, and the case fatality rate was 1.33%. So far, under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the cumulative dose in the country has exceeded 8.766 million. The total number of COVID-19 in India exceeded the 2 million mark on August 7, 2020, exceeded the 3 million mark on August 23, exceeded 4 million on September 5, and exceeded 5 million on September 16.
