After Mammootty, Son Dulquer Salmaan Tests COVID-19 Positive

India has been battling the deadly coronavirus for more than two years. This year, a third wave of the virus has infected many people, including celebrities. On January 16, Mammootty confirmed that despite all precautions he had contracted the virus, and now his son Dulquer Salmaan has also tested positive for COVID-19. The Kurup actor shared the news with his fans and revealed that he has mild symptoms. Dulquer Salmaan also urged the teams he approached to test themselves. Dulquer has a mild form of the flu and has self-isolated at home. He shared the news on social media.
Dulquer Salmaan wrote: “I just tested positive for Covid19. I’m isolating at home and have mild flu symptoms, but (me) is otherwise fine. Please those who have been in close contact with me during the last few days of filming if you Symptoms, please isolate and get tested.” Mammootty confirmed his test report, tweeting: “Despite all necessary precautions, I tested positive for Covid yesterday. Aside from a mild fever, I’m otherwise fine. I’m self-isolating at home as directed by the relevant authorities. I hope you all stay safe. Wear a mask at all times and take care.” On the job front, Dulquer Salmaan was last seen in Malayalam Thriller in the Kurup. The film is based on the true story of Kerala’s number one fugitive, Sukumarakurupu. It is directed by Srinath Rajendran and features Sobhita Dhulipala and Indrajith Sukumaran in key roles. Kurup opened in theaters on November 12, 2021.
