Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that if the loss-making Air India is not sold, it will have to be closed. Responding to a discussion in the Rajya Sabha, Puri said that Air India is committed to a deal that suits the interests of all its employees. He said that the government is in the final stage of the process of inviting bids.
