Ambuja Cements has started producing clinker and cement at its new Marwar Cement Works (Marwar Cement Works) located in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan. The trial operation of the new plant was actually opened by Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The newly built integrated plant invested 2,350 crore to increase Ambuja’s clinker production capacity by 3 metric tons/year and cement sales by 5 metric tons/year, thus contributing to the company’s long-term capacity expansion strategy. It has a waste heat recovery system (WHRS) that converts the waste heat generated in the production process into energy.
