After claiming to be the world’s first Corona vaccine, Russia now wants to help the rest of the world make the vaccine as well. Russian officials told CNN that they offered to cooperate with US Operation Warp Speed over the coronavirus vaccine. Operation Warp Speed Agency has been set up by the US to treat corona and deliver effective vaccines quickly.
Officials say that the US has refused to seek any medical help from Russia. A senior Russian official told CNN, “America is often skeptical about Russia, and I think not taking our help in technology like vaccines, testing and treatment is also the result of that mistrust.”
White House press secretary Kayle McNee said that President Trump has been informed about the Russian vaccine. McNee said that the American vaccine has to go through a tough phase three trial and high standards. Another US official told CNN that the US never took Russia’s half-baked vaccine seriously. The US public health officer said, “The vaccine that Russia has created, we use that vaccine on monkeys.”
