Amid Ukraine war, Hollywood couple raises $35 million, Zelensky says ‘grateful’

In a fundraising initiative over 35 million dollars has been collected, by a Hollywood couple, for Ukraine. 10 million people in Ukraine have fled their homes, key cities have suffered an unprecedented damage. Ukrainian president thanked the couple in a tweet, saying – “They inspire the world”.

The Ukrainian president said that he was Impressed by their determination. They inspire the world. They have already raised $35 million & are sending it to @flexport & @Airbnb to help refugees. He was grateful to them for their support.

In a video, Kunis says she was “born in Ukraine in 1983”. Kutcher interrupted  – “I have never been more proud of being married to a Ukrainian.” He was born in Chernivtsi.

“Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need,” they said. It’s still an ongoing campaign but reached its goal on March 17.
