Champat Rai, general secretary of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, has said that during the excavation for the Ram temple in Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh), sandstone containing ancient statues, pillars, Shivling and carvings of deities have been found. Actually, construction work has started here from 11 May. All these items were found during the process of leveling the ground.
