Much has been said and written about the return of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire as friendly neighbors Spider-Man in Marvel and versions of Sony’s blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home. If Andrew has his way, these three might come back for more in the future.
In a recent interaction, Andrew said that not only would he be open to working with Toby and Tom Holland on more Spider-Man movies, but that he was “willing” to do so. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Andrew talked about reprising his role as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in a future movie. “In terms of character development, yes, I’m open to that. Again, it has to be something very unique, very special, serving the audience, serving the characters. There’s something interesting, unique, weird and unexpected things to do. I’m not sure what, but it would be very interesting if we could figure it out,” he said.
The actor added that the brotherly energy he, Toby and Tom bring to the screen will be the reason he’s willing to return. “I’d love to continue working with Toby and Tom,” he said. “That dynamic of three brothers, it’s really cool.”
