Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor and his father Anil Kapoor, who will star alongside each other in the upcoming western noir thriller Thar, recently engaged in some lighthearted banter while promoting the film. While Harsh claimed that Anil Kapoor has a habit of eating food intended for others, the latter laughed him off, claiming that he has a problem spending money on himself.

Harsh previously collaborated with his father on the 2020 film AKvsAK, in which Anil appeared as a guest star. This is the first time they’ve collaborated on a feature film of this length. When asked what one thing they noticed about each other during the filming process that they weren’t aware of despite living together for so long, Harsh said

“He eats everyone else’s food,” he told Zoom. “Still, even if he has the same thing, same dish,” Harsh said when asked if their lunches came from the same place. He’ll have to reach into your food with his hand. Anyway, look at my size; I eat so little. However, he continues to do so.” “What I noticed about him is that I am a very big-hearted person, and I can share my food with anyone, but these people are like ‘Don’t touch this,’” Anil said in response. ‘You can’t eat my food,’ Mera Khaana aap nahi khaa sakte (you can’t eat my food).’ Yaar, khaana hi kha raha hu. Tereko itne saalo se paala hai, thoda khaana to de de de mujhe I was the one who raised you.

Anil went on to say that another thing he’s noticed about his son is that he doesn’t hug. “, he explained “He no longer lives with us. He has moved out and is now living independently. I’m not sure why I’m leaving all of my creature comforts and going to live alone. He’s not one of those kids who comes up to you and gives you a hug and a ‘papa papa.’ That’s not the case; we’re more like friends. We talk only when absolutely necessary, but I had more time with him during the filming of the film, which made my wife (Sunita Kapoor) envious.”

On May 6, Raj Singh Chaudhary’s film Thar, produced by Anil and Harsh, will be available to stream on Netflix. Satish Kaushik and Fatima Sana Shaikh also star in the film.
