Anjali Arora has spoken out about how her boyfriend Aakash reacted to her relationship with Munawar Faruqui on the recently ended reality show Lock Upp. On the show, Anjali and Munawar came closer and were even celebrated as a couple inside the jail, and she even told him “I Love You” on camera. Kangana Ranaut, the show’s host, teased them about their friendship all the time.
Kangana, on the other hand, was the one who first revealed Munawar’s wife and later discussed Anjali’s boyfriend. Anjali and Munawar declared near the end of the show that it was just a close friendship between them, with no romantic overtones. They also discussed their girlfriends and boyfriends.
According to Anjali, “Jealousy is a natural human emotion. You feel possessive when you love or like someone and that person begins to bond with someone else. Even if it’s just a group of friends, you can sense it. Munawar and I were such good friends inside Lock Upp that we would have problems if one of us started giving importance or time to someone else.”
She continued, “I’d feel bad if Munawar talked to someone else, and he’d feel bad if I talked to someone else. Aakash and Nazila are now real people in our lives. It’s understandable that they feel possessive. But I would say that he (Aakash) is very understanding, which is a quality that I admire greatly. He has handled everything with maturity and has taken care of everything. I greatly admire Akash for not interrogating me about this).”
Anjali mentioned Aakash on the show, but Munawar kept his girlfriend’s identity a secret until the end.
