Sudhanshu Pandey, who currently stars as Vanraj Shah on the TV show Anupamaa, took a look back at his life in a throwback photo posted to his Instagram account. The actor expressed his gratitude to God for the success he has received.
Sudhanshu posted the photo to his Instagram account on Wednesday, almost three decades after it was taken. It showed him in a velvet suit, with slightly longer hair, walking down the ramp. He recalled that it was taken when he was 20 or 21 years old and was one of India’s top models.
Sudhanshu penned: “It’s sometimes beneficial to remind yourself of where you started and where you’ve come. So that when you look back, you’ll be able to thank God for everything he’s given you. Mahakaal will always be my hero. I can’t thank him enough for starting the journey and continuing it to this day.”
“This photo was taken when I was barely 20-21 and was already one of the top models in the country,” the actor, who is now 47, continued.
Actors Rahul Dev, Rajveer Ankur Singh, Rajniesh Duggall, and Rushad Rana, among others, tagged the post with heart and fire emojis. “Only that you look the same even now,” Taher Shabbir commented, “Yeh kya talisman hai bhai. Haha (What talisman is this)?” One fan compared him to MS Dhoni, while another wrote, “My childhood crush.”
Sudhanshu made his Bollywood debut in the 2000 film Khiladi 420 as a supporting actor. He was also a member of A Band of Boys (ABOB), a boy band best known for their song Gori. He also worked on the Doordarshan TV series Beta.
