Apple acknowledges that the iPhone 14 models have a SIM-related problem.

The SIM-related issue has drawn complaints from a number of recent iPhone customers. Apple has now formally admitted the error. Some owners of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max can notice a notification on their device that reads “SIM Not Supported.” The iPhone may completely freeze after displaying the pop-up notice, according to an Apple memo, as reported by MacRumors.

The message advises users to wait for the pop-up to close. If it doesn’t happen, they shouldn’t try to restore the phone. Customers who need technical assistance to resolve the problem must instead visit an Apple Store or an authorised service partner. The business also stated in the memo that they are looking into the matter and emphasise that it is not a hardware issue, encouraging clients to maintain their software current.

For eligible iPhones, Apple has just issued the iOS 16.0.3 update. The update contains substantial security upgrades for iPhones in addition to bug fixes. It is compatible with Apple iPhone 8 and later models and has a 1 GB file size.

It also fixes an issue that caused the Mail app to crash when it received a corrupt email. The most recent iOS upgrade is advantageous for both the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The upgrade rollout has already started. To check if your iPhone has the aforementioned update, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
