Apple has paused all product sales in Russia and has limited Apple Pay and other services in the country due to the military operation in Ukraine. RT News and Sputnik News are no longer available for download from the App Store outside Russia. Apple stopped all exports into our sales channel last week.

Russian state-owned media outlets RT and Sputnik have been blocked in Europe after Moscow recognized Ukraine’s breakaway regions – Donetsk and Luhansk – as independent entities. This comes as Russian forces launched military operations in Ukraine on February 24, three days after the Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the region as an independent entity.

Several countries including the UK, the US, Canada and the European Union have condemned Russia’s military operations in Ukraine and imposed sanctions on Moscow.
