New Delhi: As Covid-19 cases fall across the country, states have eased restrictions imposed to check the spread of the infection. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority has allowed schools and gyms to reopen in the capital. All restaurants in Delhi are now open until 11pm. Physical education classes for kindergarten through 8 students resumed on Monday. The weekend curfew has also been lifted.
In Uttar Pradesh, the government last week revised guidelines to allow schools, offices, gyms, restaurants, cinemas and hotels to reopen under Covid protocols.
West Bengal has also allowed schools and gyms to reopen. Outdoor filming of movies and TV shows is also permitted.
Curfews have been lifted in Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya, Rajasthan and Assam. All places of worship in Rajasthan are open to the faithful. Public, political, social, cultural, sports related, educational, religious, entertainment programmes in Rajasthan are allowed a maximum of 250 participants. Meghalaya has eased restrictions from February 11, allowing students in grades 1 to 5 to attend physical education classes.
