Pakistan’s foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi raked up Kashmir issue while defending PM Imran Khan in the National Assembly. The National Assembly resumed a session on the no-confidence motion against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has asked why are human rights violations not happening in Indian occupied Kashmir. He also said that an accidental missile from India that landed in Pakistan could have led to an accidental war if there had been a full-blown conflict.

India has ordered a high-level inquiry into an incident in which it fired a missile into Pakistan’s airspace. Pakistan registered a strong protest over the “unprovoked violation of its airspace by a super-sonic flying object of Indian origin”.
