The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of 5 factory inspectors under the Labor and Welfare Department. The application form is available on the official website apsc.nic.in, and candidates can apply until January 20. Candidates with a degree in any branch of engineering or technology are preferably mechanical/chemical/electrical engineering and two years of workshop or manufacturing practical experience with reputable attention to be eligible to apply. Applicants shall not be less than 23 years old and not more than 38 years old as of January 1, 2021. The specific relaxation of the age is subject to the official recruitment announcement. “The age limit for candidates will be calculated based on the matriculation/HSLC admission card or pass certificate issued by a recognized central/state committee/council, and no other documents may be accepted in place of the above documents,” APSC has informed candidates.
The committee did not comment on the selection process. “If necessary, the selection process will be notified later, and then corrections/appendices will be issued. The committee will decide on any position/position or service based on the advertised position/position or service/service status, cadre and level or the number of applications received /Service selection regulations.”
