ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro will be launched in India today. The launch event will actually take place where the Taiwanese company is launching two new gaming phones. The ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro were released last year. Both phones run on the Snapdragon 888+ SoC and feature AMOLED E4 displays with a 144Hz refresh rate. The latest ROG Phone model also comes with triple rear cameras and 65W fast charging support.

The launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro in India starts today at 12 noon (noon). The launch will actually take place via the company’s social media channels.

Details about the India variants of the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro have yet to be announced. However, the phones will likely stay in line with their global counterparts that launched last August. Both ROG Phone models run on Android 11 with ROG UI on top and feature the same 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1,080×2,448 pixels) Samsung AMOLED E4 display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness . The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Under the hood, the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro feature a Snapdragon 888+ SoC, along with an Adreno 660 GPU. ROG Phone 5s is available in 8GB, 12GB, 16GB and 18GB RAM options. By comparison, the ROG Phone 5s Pro has the only 18GB RAM option.
The ROG Phone 5s is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options, while the ROG Phone 5s Pro only has a 512GB storage model.
For photos and videos, both the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. The phones also have a 25-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front.
Both the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro feature front-facing stereo speakers. The phones also include a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
