The Asus ROG Phone 5s has finally landed in the Indian market. This is currently the only smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC with a CPU clock speed of up to 3GHz. In the teaser of the product, company officials did confirm that the vapor chamber on the ROG Phone 5s is slightly larger than the ROG Phone 5.

In addition to the new and improved copper 3D vapor chamber, the phone uses graphite thermal pads to increase heat dissipation. The Asus ROG Phone 5s is a passively cooled smartphone, which means it has no fans or heatsinks to keep the device cool.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC is known to be a very hot chip and it tends to slow down performance. Given that the Snapdragon 888+ is a speed-binned Snapdragon 888+, there is also speculation that the Snapdragon 888+ is a hotter chip, and many speculate that the device will not be able to maintain peak performance for long.
