At a wedding, two Indian-origin Singaporeans attack guests with knives

Two Indian-origin Singaporeans charged for attacking two persons with bread knives at a wedding ceremony. Muhammad Sajid Saleem, 20, and Niswan Thiruchelvam, 19, appeared before a district court while in remand via video link.

Two men have been charged with attacking a man with bread knives at an open-air carpark in Singapore. If found guilty, they could be jailed, fined and caned. Praveen Raj Chanthiran was allegedly attacked by two men, aged 22 and 23.

They are believed to have thrown away their weapons before police arrived at the scene of the attack. The duo were arrested on Thursday with the help of surveillance cameras.
