At one of the most well-known yearly events hosted by the Indian diaspora in the United States of America, the India Day parade, which commemorated India’s 75th anniversary of independence, Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu represented India. Harnaaz attended that renowned procession alongside Allu Arjun, a superstar, and his wife, Sneha Reddy. It takes place in New York City each year. Social media is exploding with videos and photographs of the Miss Universe from the event. They feature Harnaaz engaging in a playful fan-greeting session, making speeches, talking with Allu Arjun, greeting her followers with “Chak De Phatte,” and much more.

Before the event, Harnaaz speaks to the crowd
The Miss Universe official page posted various footage of Harnaaz Sandhu during the India Day Parade 2022 on their Instagram stories on Monday (IST). Before going to the event, Harnaaz is seen speaking to her admirers in the opening scene. She claims, “I’m Harnaaz Sandhu, your Miss Universe, and we’re ready for the India Day Parade. Sat Sri Akaal, namaste. I am so eager to begin. Remain tuned.” Throughout the occasion, the Miss Universe spoke with Allu Arjun, waved the Indian flag, and greeted her supporters.

For the occasion, Harnaaz dressed in a glittering beige saree from the racks of designer Sawan Gandhi’s apparel line. The six yards have a scalloped lace border and silver sequined diamantes.

The traditional six yards were draped by the 22-year-old beauty queen, who let the pallu hang from her shoulder. Harnaaz’s costume was finished by a sleeveless beige satin-silk blouse.

With the Miss Universe crown, a stylish bracelet, silver jhumkis, and matching high heels, Harnaaz glammed up the conventional appearance. The last glam touches included a center-parted open hairstyle, smokey eye shadow, mauve lip colour, flushed cheeks, mascara on the lashes, glowing complexion, and kohl-lined eyes.

In the meantime, the Miss Universe pageant recently declared that starting in 2023, married women and mothers will be able to compete. In the past, mothers were not allowed to compete in the pageant, and winners had to refrain from getting pregnant while holding the title of Miss Universe.
