Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap celebrate Diwali in Chandigarh, where they were born and raised.

A few days ago, Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap hosted a pre-Diwali party, which launched the Diwali celebrations in B-town. To celebrate Diwali with family, the pair later travelled to Chandigarh. As Ayushmann always spends Diwali in his birthplace, it’s sort of a tradition for him.

The pair posted images of themselves enjoying the festivities. While Ayushmann went with black, Tahira’s yellow saree provided a striking contrast to him. Ayushmann previously disclosed that despite his hectic schedule and the fact that he is now filming for both “The Action Hero” and “Dream Girl 2,” he has been able to take two days off.

The couple’s children were also seen posing with them. “Happy Diwali from our khwaabon ka aashiyana to yours—may it be the most wonderful and lovely Diwali for everyone,” Tahira wrote alongside a photo on social media.

College sweethearts Ayushmann and Tahira have been married since 2008. Varushka Khurrana and Virajveer Khurrana are their two children. With “Sharmaji Ki Beti,” starring Saiyami Kher, Divya Dutta, Sakshi Tanwar, and Sharib Hashmi, Tahira will make her directorial debut. After making short films like “Toffee,” this would be her first full-length movie.

Before Diwali, Ayushmann’s movie “Doctor G” just came out, and the actor is receiving praise for his work.
