Bangladesh won their first ICC tournament by defeating defending champions India in the final of the Under-19 World Cup on Sunday. Bangladesh became the 7th team to win the Under-19 World Cup after India, Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, and England. Significantly, India has now lost 3 of their 7 finals of the Under-19 World Cup.
