Beats Fit Pro True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones were released on Monday. Apple’s TWS headsets have active noise cancellation (ANC), while Apple AirPods (3rd generation) don’t, despite using the same Apple H1 chip. Beats Fit Pro headphones also get spatial audio support. The TWS headset adopts a firmly fitting wingtip design and an IPX4 splash-proof rating.
In addition, according to a report, Beats has silently stopped Beats Solo Pro, Beats EP and Powerbeats. These three headphones are no longer visible on the Apple and Beats websites. Beats Fit Pro is priced at US$199.99 (approximately Rs 15,000). Beats’ TWS headphones are available for purchase through Apple’s online store and will be delivered on November 4.
They offer three color options: Beats Black, Beats White, Sage Gray and Stone Purple. The newly launched Beats Fit Pro has Apple’s proprietary dual-element diaphragm driver, giving it a clear sound. As mentioned earlier, TWS headsets use ANC, with a transparent mode, so that users can hear background noise. They are supported by Apple’s H1 chip-also available on the recently launched Apple AirPods 3rd Generation. The chip also allows Beats Fit Pro to automatically switch between devices and supports audio sharing.
Beats Fit Pro headphones have Spatial Audio support with dynamic head tracking technology. In addition to the firmly fitting wingtips, the TWS headset also has an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance. They can connect to Android or iOS smartphones using a Type 1 Bluetooth connection. There is also a multi-function button on each earbud. Through the Beats application on Android, users can control functions such as one-key pairing, custom controls, and suitability for testing. Beats Fit Pro can also use Apple’s Find My application to locate.
The TWS headset can be used for up to six hours on a single charge when the ANC is turned on, and by turning off the ANC, users can get an extra hour of playing time. The charging box can fully power the earphones three times, and with active noise reduction turned on, their total playback time is up to 24 hours. Beats Fit Pro can be charged with a USB Type-C cable, and the company claims that charging for 5 minutes can make the headset play for up to an hour.
The size of each Beats Fit Pro earbud is 190x30x24 mm, and the size of the charging case is 285x62x62 mm. The earplug weighs 5.6 grams and the charging case weighs 55.1 grams.
