In the presence of Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur, Doordarshan won the best in-depth Hindi series award 2022 at the Exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA) for a pet show called “Best Friends Forever.”

“The show features stories that explain the unique relationship that people develop with their pets, as well as how pets not only relieve stress but also save lives. The prestigious ENBA awards honour “outstanding work by individuals and leaders in the media industry who are shaping the future of television broadcasting in India,” according to the I&B ministry.

Two pet trainers host the half-hour weekly live phone-in show, which instructs viewers on how to care for their pets and provides information on pet food, nutrition, routine health check-ups, vaccination, and other pet-related topics. Furthermore, it demonstrates two-way communication, in which viewers can interact with experts to get answers to their questions.
