A man on a motorbike has paid dearly to save a few minutes after being scraped clean by a speeding train in Mumbai. There is now a clipping circulating on social media that sees a two-wheeled vehicle smashed under the Rajdhani Express train while cyclists grit their teeth to escape.

The video was reportedly filmed in Mumbai on February 12. The cyclist can be seen stopping on the tracks, seeing the approaching train and abandoning his motorcycle at the last minute. He also appears to have been injured by the incident.

The video, which is now widely circulating on social media platforms, sent users shuddering. It was followed by a similar incident last year in which a cyclist escaped such a train accident in a pinch.

Many Twitter users reacted to the incident.

“All impatient, overly smart riders, drivers and lawbreakers in #India need to watch this video every day,” one user wrote.

Another response read: “All such railroad crossings should stop and legal action should be taken against offenders who cross such crossing barriers.”

“So…his bike was destroyed, he must have had a 440 volt shock, his back was hurt…all of this was happening trying to save a few minutes. This Known as Lene Ke Dene Padhgaye,” another tweet said.
