Los Angeles Fans of Colleen Hoover’s book “It Ends With Us” won’t be let down by the upcoming film, according to actor Blake Lively, who is slated to feature in the film.

Lively co-stars in “It Ends With Us” with Justin Baldoni, who also directed the movie.

“Some people will always like a book better than a movie and some people like a movie better than the book, but I think that we just did our best to honour the book and honour the fans, and, I think, really make something that works even by itself,” Lively stated in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

The movie centres on Lily Bloom, who believes Ryle Kincaid to be the love of her life.

But as a distressing abuse episode brings back memories of her troubled background, she has to consider whether love alone can save her marriage. The reappearance of her first love—a man she took in many years ago when he was homeless—complicates matters even further,” according to the officials.

The “Gossip Girl” actor promised people they would like the movie even if they hadn’t read the book, and vice versa.

“The movie is watchable even if you haven’t read the book. I doubt there’s any way you wouldn’t be delighted if you saw the movie and read the book. We put a lot of effort into that.

“I also think you wouldn’t think, ‘Hold on, this isn’t like,’ if you watched the movie and then read the book. You have two options. They’re both very lovely, in my opinion,” she continued.

The cast of “It Ends With Us” also includes Jenny Slate, Alex Neustaedter, Isabela Ferrer, and Brandon Sklenar. The film is scheduled for release on August 9.
