The Mumbai High Court will continue to hear the bail request filed by the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan (Aryan Khan) on Wednesday. Narcotics were seized on a cruise ship and arrested. Judge NW Sambre began hearing on the bail application on Tuesday.

Aryan Khan’s lawyers Mukul Rohatgi and Satish Maneshinde argued that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had no evidence against the 23-year-old man, who was wrongly arrested and detained for more than 20 days. “There is no evidence of consumption, no drug recall, and absolutely no evidence that he participated in the so-called conspiracy and abetting alleged by the NCB,” said senior advocate Rohatgi.

Rohatgi completed his argument, after which the court stated that it would continue hearing on co-defendants Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha’s bail request. On Wednesday, the court will also hear the arguments of Anil Singh, an additional deputy attorney general who will appear in court for the NCB.
