Off-road and adventure bike maker KTM has introduced such an offer that you will not be able to ignore. KTM has launched the KTM Adventure Getaway program in association with online travel portal Thrillophilia. In this program, KTM and Thrillophilia will jointly undertake 50 tours over the next one year. All these tours will be done by KTM 390 Adventure bike. For now, booking for the tour of Ladakh has been started first, later booking for tours of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan will also start in this.
KTM and Thrillophilia will jointly give a tour plan of ‘6 days and 5 nights’ to Ladakh. Travel will be done in groups of 12 bikes at a time and for each tour, this KTM travel company will provide 12 KTM 390 Adventure bikes to Thrillophilia. The customer will also be given basic training and petrol expenses to roam in Ladakh with this bike.
Under the KTM Adventure Getaway program, customers will be taken to almost all major points in Ladakh. It will cover the world’s highest road Khardung-La pass, second high road Chang-La pass, Nubra Valley, Leh, Magnetic Hill, confluence of Indus and Zanskar, Pangong Lake etc.
With this program of KTM, travelers booking a trip to Ladakh will be able to enjoy breakfast, dinner, stay and bonfire wherever possible throughout the trip. Apart from this, pick and drop from the airport, trained tour leader, mechanic, a backup vehicle, helmet, bike maintenance, oxygen cylinder, first-aid, if needed, all types of permits, driver, toll tax, wildlife tax of Ladakh also tour will be included in the plan.
You can book KTM Adventure Getaway’s Ladakh plans by visiting Thrillophilia’s site. Its booking has started from Tuesday itself. For this package, you will have to pay Rs 27,000 per passenger and the company will not bear the cost of air travel in this package.
The KTM 390 Adventure has been designed according to the company’s offroad and adventure travel. It is powered by 373.2 cc air-cooled engine as well as single cylinder 4 stroke DOHC engine. It generates power of 43.5PS at 9000rpm and maximum torque of 37Nm at 7000rpm.
The bike has a large fuel tank of 14.5 liters which makes it suitable for travel in Ladakh, as there is no petrol pump far and wide. Its ex-showroom price in Delhi starts from Rs 3.28 Lakh.
