Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre will kickstart a mega outreach programme in Jammu and Kashmir from Friday with nearly 70 Union Ministers are likely to visit the Union Territory in the next nine weeks.
Eight Ministers (four each in Jammu and Kashmir divisions) will be visiting the Union Territory every week beginning September 10 during which they will have direct interaction with the people, administration and representatives of the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and address the challenges they are facing.
Mr. Tomar praised J&K L-G Manoj Sinha for his “visionary leadership”. “People are fortunate to have such a leader like him for guidance,” he added.
The Union Agriculture Minister also inaugurated the Technology Park and e-inaugurated Gramin Krishi Mausum Sewa (GKMS) for facilitating farmers by issuing weather advisories.
