Spain has ordered the killing of one million beaver (mink) to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. A beaver coronavirus has been found infected in a farm in north-eastern Spain, after which it has been decided.
In May, a farm employee’s wife tested positive on this farm in Aragon province. After this, when this woman’s husband and other six farm employees were tested, they were all found positive.
Beaver fur is used in the manufacture of many things and warm clothes and it is also quite valuable. After these employees were found infected, the beaver of the farm was kept apart and they were also being monitored.
But on 13 July, once again, these beaver corona tests were conducted, in which about 87 percent of the farm’s mink corona was found positive.
