India’s First COVID-19 Candidate Vaccine ‘COVAXIN’ Gets Approval For Human Trial

Bharat Biotech said on Monday that its COVAXIN vaccine ‘COVAXIN’ of Covid-19 has received approval from Drugs Controller General of India for Phase I and 2 human trials. With this, it became India’s first candidate vaccine to be approved for human trials. It was developed in collaboration with ICMR and NIV.
