The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said on Thursday that the total number of coronavirus cases in India has doubled to 52,952 in 11 days. At the same time, the death toll from Kovid-19 in the country has increased to 1,783. Of the total cases, 35,902 are active while 15,267 patients recover, discharge, or migrate.
