According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 54,044 new cases of Covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours brought the total cases in the country to 76,51,107 by Wednesday morning. Of these, 7,40,090 are active cases while 67,95,103 patients have been discharged. At the same time, the total number of dead has increased to 1,15,914 with 717 deaths in 24 hours.
