India has become the second most affected country by Covid-19, beating Brazil. Total cases have increased to 42,04,613 with a record increase of 90,802 in daily cases. There have been 41,37,521 cases in Brazil so far. The number of deaths from Covid-19 in India has increased to 71,642 while 8,82,542 cases are active and 32,50,429 people have been cured.
