On Wednesday, two militants and a CRPF jawan were killed in an encounter on the outskirts of Srinagar. Meanwhile, the police have warned that virtual private networks (VPNs) were being misused by militants in Kashmir after the resumption of 2G service.
Two militants were killed after the police and CRPF party fired on the Srinagar-Baramulla route. Security forces had prior notice of movement of terrorists passing through the area, ”said Director General of Police of Jammu and Kashmir Dilbag Singh.
