Day 15 Box Office Collection for Srikanth Forecast: These days, Rajkummar Rao has every reason to be beaming. Even though Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, starring Janhvi Kapoor, isn’t out for another week, his most recent release has already won over millions of hearts. We are referring to the film Srikanth, directed by Tushar Hiranandani and starring Alaya F, Jyothika, and Sharad Kelkar. It should be noted that Rajkummar plays the title character in Srikanth, a biopic about the visually impaired businessman and founder of Bollant Industries, Srikanth Bolla.
Rajkummar’s portrayal in the film has left everyone in awe, and fans are calling for him to receive a National Award. The movie is a charming watch. It’s interesting to note that Srikanth made a total of over Rs 11 crores in box office revenue on its first weekend of release, after earning Rs 2.25 crores on opening day. Srikanth maintained a solid hold at the box office during the first week, despite a significant decline in attendance on the first Monday. As a result, the second weekend brought much-needed relief for the movie.
It’s interesting to note that despite a steady decline in attendance, Rajkummar’s film has maintained a strong hold in theatres thanks to positive word-of-mouth that has benefited Srikanth during the second week. Based on early estimates, Srikanth’s earnings from the movie reached Rs 31.45 crores after he made Rs 1.40 crores yesterday (day 14/second Thursday). Srikanth is predicted to maintain his current trajectory and surpass the Rs 32 crore milestone today (day 15/third Friday). It will be intriguing to observe whether Srikanth experiences a respectable increase in attendance over the third weekend.
It’s interesting to note that while Rajkummar is enjoying the love he is receiving from Srikant, he is preparing for the May 31 release of Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, his second film with Janhvi Kapoor. The film, directed by Sharan Sharma, is Rajkummar and Janvhi’s second joint venture following Roohi. Janhvi recently discussed the film candidly, saying, “Being a purist and working with a lot of honesty, our director wanted me to play a cricket player for the film. He didn’t want to use visual effects, he didn’t want to cheat on that, and he didn’t want to take any shortcuts. He wished for me to be completely devoted to cricket and to become one with the universe. I also got a lot of injuries during the preparation. My shoulders were displaced on both sides, However, I want to give all the credit to him, the director, and my coaches, Vikrant sir and Abhishek Nayar, who have supported me at every step and put in a lot of work.”
