Actress Reena Rai, girlfriend of the late actor and activist Deep Sidhu, shared her first post since his death. She said she “died inside” and talked about hearing his voice when she remembered him.
Reena shared the photo with the late actor and wrote: “My heart is broken, I’m dead, please come back to your soulmate, you promised me you would never leave me. I love you, my Jaan, my soul boy, you are my heartbeat. As I lay in my hospital bed today, I heard you whisper: I love my Jaan, I know you will always be with me… We plan together Our future, now you’re gone. Soulmates won’t leave and see you on the other side Jaan #Truesoulmates.”
Fans of the actor have offered their condolences, expressing their love for the deceased actor. Many wrote: “Hold on!! Sorry for your loss.” Others wrote, “Prayers and strength for you.”
Deep died Tuesday evening following a road accident. His car hit a truck on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway near Kharkhoda in Haryana’s Sonipat district.
The popular Punjabi actor has also been accused of being the main conspirator in the Red Fort violence on Republic Day last year. He was also arrested in connection with the case and released on bail after serving more than two months in prison.
According to a PTI report, Deep was travelling from Delhi to Punjab when the incident occurred. Television footage showed the driver’s side badly damaged after his white SUV slammed into a stationary truck.
