Delhi records 1,550 new cases, lowest since March 30; positivity rate at 2.5%

There is a steady decline in the number of corona infects in the national capital. According to the data released by the Health Department, 1550 people have been infected with Corona in the last 24 hours. With this, the infection rate in the city has reached 2.52 percent. In 24 hours, 207 patients have died from the corona.

According to the Health Bulletin, 14,18,418 people have been infected with Corona so far in Delhi. Of these, 13,70,431 patients have been cured and 23,409 patients have died. Presently, 24,578 patients are undergoing treatment.

On Sunday, 1649 new cases were confirmed in Delhi and 189 corona patients lost their lives. Earlier on Saturday, 2260 new cases were reported and 182 patients died. On Friday, corona was confirmed in 3009 people and 252 patients died. On Thursday, 3846 people were infected with Corona and 235 patients died.

To break the Corona transition chain, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced to extend the lockdown in the capital for another week. Explain that in view of the second wave of Corona virus, a lockdown was imposed in Delhi on 19 April.
